The Power of Prevailing Prayer

Virtual Prayer Meeting

January 7-28, 2018

A national virtual prayer meeting will take place for North America from Sunday, January 7 through Sunday, January 28. Nightly, at 9 PM EST time, Christians from across the continent can join a live prayer call focused on revival and awakening by calling (712) 770-4172 or (712) 770-4173; Access Code: 1234. New this year, the time of prayer will be live-streamed via americapray.net and on Facebook.

The call will last 60 minutes with a special afterglow each night. Special guests already scheduled on the call include Alton Garrison, Assistant Superintendent of the Assemblies of God; Tom Phillips, Vice President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association; Kay Horner, the Awakening America Alliance; and Michael Obi, African Strategic Prayer Leaders Network and many more.

Douglas Small, President of Alive Ministries: Project Pray says, “The list of participants this year reads like a ‘Who’s Who,” among respected Evangelical-Pentecostal leaders committed to prayer and spiritual awakening.” The call will have an interdenominational flavor. Leaders from across the nation are scheduled to host the prayer call throughout the 22 days.

Each day, a devotional challenge will be emailed to those requesting updates on the call. The devotional is an excerpt from Brian Sutton’s newest book, Conversation with God, The Power of Prevailing Prayer.

Doug Small, noted, “We hope members will tune in nightly. And in some cases, that pastors will call a prayer revival, gather their congregations, listen in and prayer along with the prayer calls.”

All across the nation, it is estimated that millions will begin the year by fasting and praying for spiritual renewal. The Power of Prevailing Prayer, Virtual Prayer Meeting, is a way of drawing us together toward the goal of a Great Awakening in our culture.
